China's aluminum industry started in the mid-1950s; By the 1980s, it was a preliminary development period, and the domestic aluminum industry was developing slowly. The aluminum output had not been able to break through the annual output of 400000 tons; Since 1989, it has been a period of rapid development. From the establishment of the China National Non ferrous Metals Industry Corporation to the establishment of the policy of "giving priority to the development of aluminum", the aluminum industry has emerged in a new situation, with a rapid increase in aluminum production.
Up to now, China has established a complete industrial chain from aluminum and aluminum alloy smelting, casting, mold design and manufacturing, aluminum and aluminum alloy extrusion, rolling, forging, aluminum surface treatment, to finishing.
According to WIND data, from 2012 to 2021, China's aluminum profile production showed an upward trend. In 2018, due to the adjustment of environmental protection policies, the aluminum profile market was greatly affected, and the aluminum production declined. However, with the recovery of the photovoltaic industry and the gradual deepening of the application of aluminum profiles in the fields of automotive lightweight, electronic power, household appliances, new energy vehicles, and high-end equipment manufacturing, the market demand for aluminum profiles has gradually expanded, with the output reaching 61.052 million tons in 2021, gradually emerging from the impact of environmental policy adjustments.
